Rachel Powell (Dancer) began her training with Kirt & Linda Hathaway and the Academy of Ballet Arkansas, and later trained with Arkansas Academy of Dance under Rebecca Stalcup, Melinda Tobian, Dennis Poole and Mark Bush.  Rachel is now a senior dance major at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with fabulous instruction from Rhythm McCarthy, Stephen Stone and Stephanie Thibeault. She has also studied with Gelsey Kirkland, Patricia Barker, John Magnus, Ting-Ting Chang and Michael Banigan, to name a few.  As a resident company member of Arkansas Festival Ballet, Rachel has performed leading roles in The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty and Alice in Wonderland.
